Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology X-Ray Technologist to join our team at UCHealth. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

Responsibilities
  • Review patient history and physician's orders to ensure accurate and efficient scheduling.
  • Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure their understanding and cooperation.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within the scope of practice.
  • Monitor patient condition continually and report/respond to changes in status as appropriate.
  • Prepare equipment and supplies, select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters, and implement safety standards.
  • Position patients and perform imaging procedures, analyze results, and identify issues with image quality.
  • Enter and transmit images, and may work with Radiology students.
Requirements
  • Minimum Required Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Required Licensure/Certification: Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R). Specialty ARRT certification(s) if required for position. State licensure if required by law. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
