Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient support under the guidance of registered nurses or licensed practical nurses.
  • Aid residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
  • Measure and document vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rates.
  • Assist in patient evaluations and accurately record observations.
  • Administer prescribed medications and support tube feeding as instructed by healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety through attentive service and support.
  • Help with catheter management and other essential medical tasks.
  • Observe patients for any changes in health status and communicate concerns to nursing staff.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized living space for residents.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a nursing assistant role or similar position is preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is advantageous.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.

Essential Skills:
  • Proficient in healthcare systems and electronic medical records.
  • Understanding of basic medical tasks, including vital sign measurement and medication administration.
  • Compassionate approach to patient care across diverse age groups and backgrounds.
