  • You will lead the design, implementation, and testing of data systems used by thousands of people, from architecture to production.

  • You will develop and maintain the source of truth data environment used by everyone at Klaviyo to measure business health.
  • You will ensure quality, performance, and stability of data systems through robust quality systems and monitoring practices.
What You'll Bring
  • Proven track record of leading highly technical projects and delivering impactful results.
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies, with AWS preferred.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling such as Terraform.
  • 7+ years of data development experience in SQL and 3+ years in object-oriented programming languages like Python.
  • Expertise in database design, 3NF, dimensional modeling, data vault, or star schema.
  • Familiarity with data and cloud engineering best practices, including data discovery, documentation, infrastructure development/deployment, and information security.
