Allina Health is seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team. As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a vital role in enhancing the consumer experience by providing exceptional customer service and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient access to systemwide services, identifying their needs through active listening skills and empathetic communication.
- Assist patients, clinical professionals, and the general public with access to healthcare services, performing scheduling and phone support with a focus on customer service and patient satisfaction.
- Ensure data collection entries are accurate and complete, following systemwide registration processes to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Utilize various computer systems to perform scheduling and registration processes, including an electronic medical record, to ensure seamless and efficient access to healthcare services.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age with education and/or experience meeting required functional competencies.
- 0-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, with a focus on healthcare-related courses.
- Associate's or Vocational degree in a healthcare-related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on patient access and registration.
Physical Demands
