Position Overview

The Marketing Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the Sales & Service Director by organizing departmental activities and ensuring timely completion of marketing initiatives. This position involves gathering market intelligence across various platforms, including local, regional, national, and online arenas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducts thorough research to identify potential sales opportunities and assists in the formulation of marketing or advertising strategies.
  • Collects competitive data, including pricing, sales tactics, and distribution methods.
  • Utilizes search marketing techniques, analyzes web metrics, and provides insights to enhance search engine visibility and rankings.
  • Creates and disseminates engaging online content across multiple social media channels.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in developing and editing both online and print marketing materials.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and Database Management.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Typical Duties

  • Researches and crafts content for various social media and marketing platforms.
  • Manages organizational social media accounts, including Facebook and LinkedIn.
  • Assists in the creation and design of graphic content for the website and other marketing materials.
  • Analyzes reports from social media and marketing systems to recommend improvements for campaigns.
  • Generates innovative ideas for marketing and development initiatives utilizing social media and other platforms.
  • Drafts marketing campaigns to support sales efforts using marketing systems.
  • Ensures all marketing materials align with brand standards and integrity.
  • Maintains relevant spreadsheets and assists with compliance inquiries related to labor laws.
  • Monitors industry trends and statistics to stay informed.
  • Develops and assesses methods for data collection, including surveys and polls.
  • Performs additional tasks and special projects as assigned.
