About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer - Web to join our team at Uline, a leading distributor of shipping, industrial and packaging materials.

As a key member of our development team, you will have the opportunity to design, develop, test, deploy, support, and maintain complex web applications based on business requirements using approved technologies and coding standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Design and develop complex web applications using approved technologies and coding standards.
  • Code Reviews and Quality Assurance: Perform design and code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and application responsiveness.
  • Project Planning and Architectural Design: Assist in project planning and architectural design reviews.
  • Mentorship and Leadership: Mentor other developers on programming issues and exhibit leadership in cross-functional development practices.
  • Process Consistency and Team Deliverables: Work with the development team to ensure process consistency and completion of team deliverables.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years web development experience.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of object-oriented design, web application architecture, and relational database design. Skilled in delivering web/e-commerce solutions with ASP.NET, MVC, C#, and JavaScript technologies. Experience using T-SQL to write SQL queries and stored procedures. Proficient in code versioning and CI/CD tools.
