Bausch + Lomb GmbH, a leading global eye health company, is seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison/Senior Medical Science Liaison to join our team. As a key member of our Medical Affairs department, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders and customers in the ophthalmic industry.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with regional and national key opinion leaders and customers.
- Provide scientific insights and information on Bausch + Lomb's products and services to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Participate in the development and implementation of medical education programs and initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication of medical information.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in eye care and ophthalmology, and apply this knowledge to inform medical strategies and initiatives.
- Doctorate-level degree (e.g. PhD, PharmD, OD, or MD) in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison in the ophthalmic industry or 2 years of clinical experience in optometry/eye care.
- Established relationships with regional key opinion leaders or customers highly desired.
- Compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
- Highly motivated self-starter with a positive attitude, possessing the initiative required to achieve desired goals both independently and within a team structure.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to Medical Science Liaisons.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work effectively with others.
- Demonstrated understanding of product and technical knowledge in eye care.
This is a remote position with up to 50% travel required. This includes extensive vehicle travel within a designated territory, covering a significant geographic area, and occasional travel to other locations as needed.
