Job Summary:

About the Role:
This position requires a highly motivated individual with advanced knowledge of medical principles, procedures, and protocols. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Your expertise in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning will enable you to make informed decisions and contribute to the development of innovative care pathways. In addition, your experience working in hospital settings will help you navigate complex care scenarios and drive positive outcomes for patients.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
• A master's degree or Ph.D. in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program
• Current licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of California
• Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and inform decision-making
• Experience working in hospital settings, with a focus on patient care and medical management
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently
Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is $77.29 - $101.99 per hour. Benefits information can be found on the University of California website.
