Fresh Bakery Partner Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fresh Bakery Partner to join our team at Brookshire Grocery Company. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for baking, packaging, labeling, and pricing bakery products to ensure high-quality products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist bakery personnel with baking, preparing, packaging, labeling, and maintaining product displays.
  • Adhere to quality control and food safety standards by stocking and rotating baked goods.
  • Stacks pallets and sorts product into correct locations according to Company efficiency standards and expectations.
  • Maintains clean, safe and sanitary working and shopping environment by adhering to Company safety procedures.
  • Provides friendly and customer-service-oriented attitude by greeting customers, answering questions and taking special order requests by phone and in person.
  • Promotes product sales through use of suggestive selling initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 18 years of age required.
  • Food Handler certification required.
  • Typically involves on-the-job training.

Work Environment:

Work is generally performed in a retail store. Frequently exposed to hot surfaces, extreme cold conditions, extreme heat conditions, wet, slippery or damp conditions, equipment with sharp blades or edges, and cleaning agents. Quiet to moderate noise level.
