Job Title: Electrophysiology Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Technician to join our team at Trident Medical Center. As an Electrophysiology Technician, you will play a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias and other cardiovascular conditions.

Job Summary:

The Electrophysiology Technician will be responsible for assisting in the performance of electrophysiology procedures, including electrophysiology studies, catheter ablations, and pacemaker implantations. You will work closely with our team of cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and setup of electrophysiology procedures
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs and other physiological data during procedures
  • Operate and maintain electrophysiology equipment, including electrocardiogram machines and defibrillators
  • Assist in the insertion and removal of catheters and other medical devices
  • Provide patient education and support during procedures
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in a related field, such as cardiovascular technology or a related field
  • Current certification as an Electrophysiology Technician, such as the Certified Electrophysiology Technician (CET) credential
  • 1-2 years of experience as an Electrophysiology Technician
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
