Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • At least 2-years of experience in trailer/chassis mechanics, usage and customary repair methods.
  • FMCSA and brake certifications required.
  • Knowledge in welding MIG and/or ARC welding, torch use.
  • Knowledge of AAR, IICL and DOT rules and criteria.
  • Ability to work in a shop environment primarily with the possibility of some mobile repairs.
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently and without direct supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Must be willing to work all shifts as required with the potential to work weekends depending on seasonal demand.
  • Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office products and phone apps for work order processing.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
