Job Description
  • Project management, supervisory responsibilities, and fieldwork including construction monitoring, linear and aerial surveys, National Register of Historic Places eligibility testing, and data recovery investigations.
  • Laboratory processing and curation preparation activities associated with projects, artifact analysis, and technical reports production.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Strengthening client relationships and developing new business opportunities with public and private sector clients.
  • Collaborating with the Cultural Resources Program Director/Assistant Director to manage CRC staff and ensure project effectiveness.
  • Managing CRC projects on budget and schedule for Raba Kistner clients.
  • Collaborating with the CR Program Director/Assistant Director to grow the regional office.
  • Supporting the firm's objectives of meeting client expectations.

This position requires:

  • A Master's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or Historic Preservation, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum 7 years applicable experience.
  • Experience in interpreting and applying Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act and the rules and regulations associated with the National Environmental Protection Agency.

Estimated Annual Salary: $120,000 - $150,000

Work Environment

This role involves working in a fast-paced environment with potential exposure to heavy equipment, varying weather conditions, hazardous chemicals, noise, dust, fumes, grease, oils, radiant energy, and vibration. The successful candidate must follow proper safety procedures and utilize protective equipment as needed.
