Job Summary

The Substitute Nurse will provide coverage as needed, supporting the health and well-being of students across the district.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care and support to students in a school setting
  • Administer medications and treatments as needed
  • Conduct health assessments and develop care plans
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to ensure student health and safety
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current CPR AED certification
  • A valid New Jersey School Nurse Certificate or Registered Nurse licensure
  • Expertise in school health nursing practice and emergency procedures
