Clinical Respiratory Therapist Role

Riverview Health is seeking a seasoned Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients in various settings.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive respiratory care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams, taking into account individual patient needs and goals.
  • Administer oxygen, aerosolized medications, and other treatments as ordered by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Provide airway management for inpatients and outpatients, including initiation and monitoring of invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation.
  • Analyze assessment data to identify specific patient respiratory problems and develop targeted interventions.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, patients, and families, providing clear and concise information about treatment plans and progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to policies and regulatory requirements.
