Job Summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners, assisting in the diagnosis of disease and injury, and ensuring the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients and coils on the table to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
  • Inject contrast media as required to enhance image quality.
  • Set technical parameters and observe image data on computer monitors during scans.
  • Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations, ensuring the safety of patients and staff.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines for diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Deliver quality patient care in a professional and compassionate manner.
Requirements
  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
  • Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience, preferably in a critical care setting.
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
