The Michelle Martin Group is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Business Analyst who is proactive and self-driven. This hybrid role requires collaboration with various stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and development teams to accurately document business requirements and create business flow diagrams.
This position entails comprehensive business analysis across web applications for the Office of Information Management (OIM) and its clientele. The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders and development teams to ensure that business requirements are meticulously documented. Reporting to the Project Manager, the analyst will facilitate the successful implementation of Information Technology solutions by ensuring all enhancements, modifications, and newly identified business initiatives are thoroughly captured.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with customers and project management to develop business requirements in response to system enhancement requests.
- Engage with technical teams and vendors to ensure requirements are integrated into system design and testing processes.
- Assess alternative strategies and provide recommendations for feasible solutions that align with existing technologies and systems.
- Create detailed requirements documentation and business flow diagrams.
- Participate actively in functional and systems integration testing, including the development of test plans and scenarios.
- Assist customers during the testing phase.
- Design and deliver training sessions for customers.
- Offer implementation and maintenance support.
- Conduct regular meetings with customers to discuss progress and gather feedback.
- Propose system and process improvements, conducting competitive analysis and opportunity assessments to support new initiatives.
- Keep the Project Manager informed of significant issues that may affect project execution.
- Facilitate project meetings, including conference calls and planning sessions, while providing comprehensive meeting notes.
- Utilize project management applications, collaboration tools, and MS Office applications, including Visio, SharePoint, Google Meets, and Teams.
