Communication Specialist

Soliant is seeking a skilled School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. This role involves providing speech and language therapy, conducting assessments, and developing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify student communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs to support student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to provide a supportive learning environment.
- Lead individual and group therapy sessions to promote effective communication skills.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided to ensure seamless collaboration with the educational team.
- Participate in IEP meetings to contribute to setting educational goals for students and develop strategies for achieving those goals.
Requirements:
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an SLP.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred but not required for Clinical Fellows applicants.
- Prior experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.
