Diagnostic Imaging Specialist in Texas

Job Summary:

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist works in conjunction with the Chief Technologist, Imaging Manager, Director, and Medical Staff to improve patient and workflow via providing support, education, and leadership to the technical staff.

They perform CT procedures as outlined by the State of Texas and departmental protocols, which include but are not limited to neurological disorders and stroke, oncologic and cardiac services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT scans in accordance with departmental protocols and State of Texas regulations.
  • Collaborate with the medical staff to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Provide education and training to technical staff on new procedures and technologies.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • ARRT certification in CT.
  • Prior experience and knowledge in diagnostic imaging.
