Job Summary:
As an Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing aircraft avionics systems, electrical equipment, and electronic components.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions in aircraft avionics systems, electrical wiring, and electronic components.
  • Perform inspections, modifications, and routine maintenance on various aircraft avionics systems.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure efficient completion of tasks.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Avionics Technician in a commercial maintenance environment.
  • Minimum three years of hands-on experience working on aircraft avionics systems, electrical components, and electronic equipment.
  • Familiarity with various aircraft types, including Boeing 737/767 and Airbus models.
  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possession of a standard tool kit.
  • Ability to pass criminal background checks and comply with FAA drug and alcohol screening requirements.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Demonstrate proficiency in interpreting maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail. Work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.
  • Exhibit strong documentation skills for work performed and task handovers.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Good vision and depth perception are essential.
