About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Duct Installation Specialist to join our team at Green Air Inc. As a key member of our Construction department, you will play a vital role in helping us deliver high-quality HVAC systems to our commercial and residential clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare job sites for installing ductwork, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Assist experienced mechanics with the installation and running of new ductwork in various types of buildings, including residential homes, commercial businesses, and multi-story buildings.
  • Support the distribution of materials and equipment to ensure timely project completion.
  • Take direction from project managers and experienced mechanics on project details and requirements.
  • Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor, including lifting and moving heavy materials.
  • Learn and interpret construction plans and drawings to ensure accurate installation.
  • Develop skills in welding and brazing to support the installation process.
  • Maintain a safe and secure work environment, adhering to company safety protocols and attending regular safety meetings.
  • Document and manage timecards using our software application.
  • Stay up-to-date with local code requirements and regulations.
  • Develop proficiency in using basic sheet metal tools and power tools.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of the HVAC trade and its principles.
  • Dependability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to a positive team dynamic.
  • Ability to use independent judgment and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to learn and utilize app-based software for construction tasks.
  • Excellent time management skills and basic computer skills.
Working Conditions
  • Ability to work in an open work area with moderate everyday noise levels.
  • Ability to work closely with other trades and contractors.
  • Ability to withstand heat and cold temperatures.
Physical Requirements

Occasionally required to stand, stoop, kneel, and crouch. Ability to lift and/or move up to 25lbs.
