Job Summary
This Advanced Practice RN role in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Stepdown Unit at Aquor Technologies involves providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring patient vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care and advocate for their needs.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and overall condition, promptly identifying and addressing any changes in status.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians, including IV drips and infusions.
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a current RN state license in good standing, a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Stepdown Unit, or related critical care nursing field, and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Strong knowledge of critical care nursing practices, telemetry monitoring, and cardiac care are essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required, as well as the ability to work effectively in high-stress environments.
