Job SummaryThe ICU Float Pool Night Nurse will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to prioritize wellness, patient perspective, and evidence-based practice. You will contribute to securing safety and quality at the point of care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct care in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) settings, adhering to AACN's Synergy Model and specialty certification standards.
- Prioritize patient needs, utilizing clinical judgment and decision-making skills to deliver high-quality care.
- Collaborate with clinical educators to support individualized education and training for competency validation throughout clinical orientation.
- Maintain a safe and effective work environment, contributing to the overall success of the healthcare team.
To be successful as an ICU Float Pool Night Nurse, you must possess:
- A graduate degree from an accredited or state-approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
- A valid state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- No less than six months of ICU nursing experience (RN) or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
- Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
