Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the telemetry unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition, communicating effectively with the healthcare team to ensure timely interventions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote safe and effective patient care.
Requirements
  • One year of recent acute care or long-term care nurse experience is required. Telemetry nursing experience is preferred.
  • RN Diploma, ASN required. BSN preferred.
  • PA RN license. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) preferred.
