Senior Quality Manager

At Danbury Mission Technologies, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Manager to lead our Program Quality Engineering organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards, as defined by our contracts and internal company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of quality engineers to meet program quality standards
  • Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to resolve quality issues
  • Develop and implement quality metrics and processes to drive business performance
  • Guide and coach the Quality team to drive performance, develop potential, and facilitate career growth
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Monitor and audit processes, materials, and product testing to identify areas for improvement
  • Drive yield and technical process improvements at suppliers
  • Carry out analysis of material quality issues and drive technical solutions
  • Collaborate with other organization functions to ensure quality requirements are executed
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in Mission Assurance, Quality, Engineering, Operations, or Business management
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in management of people, processes, and/or projects
  • Hands-on technical experience in assembly, integration, and testing of electro-mechanical and/or electro-optical systems
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to lead problem resolution across multi-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ASQ certification (CQE or CQM)
  • SAP ERP experience
  • Background in AS9100 standard
  • Experience within the aerospace industry
