Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our pharmacists in the delivery of high-quality services.

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Operate pharmacy systems, including cash registers and inventory management software, to ensure efficient and accurate processing of prescriptions and other transactions.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge in pharmacy operations and patient care.
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, customers, and colleagues.
• Basic math skills and ability to accurately count, measure, and weigh medications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
