We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at WakeMed Health & Hospitals. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for operating radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images of patients.
Key Responsibilities- Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images of patients
- Work in multiple areas of the hospital, including pediatrics, operating room, portables, fluoroscopy, emergency department, and outpatient procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of radiation safety procedures and protocols
- Participate in call back rotation at multiple sites
- 1 year of clinical experience in radiology preferred
- Graduate of a radiologic technology program required
- Registered Technologist for Radiography and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification required
This position requires a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. The specific schedule will be discussed during the interview process.
