Job Title: Classroom Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Classroom Nurse to join our team at Florence Unified School District #1. As a Classroom Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare services to our students with medically fragile needs.

Job Summary:

The Classroom Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, and maintaining accurate medical records. You will work closely with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for students with medically fragile needs
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Provide education and support to students, parents, and staff on healthcare-related topics
Requirements:
  • CNA, EMT, CMA, or LPN certification required; RN preferred
  • Previous experience as a school health care professional or paraprofessional desirable
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
What We Offer:
  • Competitive hourly rate of $30.00
  • Full-time, 8-hour per day schedule
