As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CT scanners, preparing patients for imaging procedures, and ensuring high-quality images are produced.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain CT scanners to ensure optimal performance and image quality
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve patient flow and reduce wait times
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance imaging services and patient satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or Computed Tomography
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital or imaging center setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
