Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Phlebotomist/Med Tech to join our team at Insurance Paramedical Services Inc. as a Part-Time Independent Contractor. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting mobile exams, collecting and documenting medical history and vitals, and obtaining blood and urine samples.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct mobile exams professionally and on time, following established safety procedures and health guidelines.
  • Collect and document medical history and vitals, including blood pressure, temperature, and other relevant information.
  • Obtain blood and urine samples, perform EKG as needed, and label, centrifuge, and complete all paperwork accurately.
  • Upload all completed documents in the ExamOne Portal and package and ship all paperwork and specimens to the lab.
  • Provide daily case status and maintain accurate records of all exams conducted.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience as a Phlebotomist/Med Tech, with a minimum of 100 sticks.
  • Excellent blood drawing skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong medical terminology and ability to gather medical history and physical measurements.
  • Must have a stethoscope, blood pressure cuff, scale, and tape measure.
  • High-speed internet access with a printer/scanner to print, scan, and upload completed documents.
  • Reliable car and auto insurance.
  • Pass a background check and urine marijuana drug screen.
