Job Title: Certified Nursing Aide

At Westminster Canterbury of Richmond, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Aide to join our team. As a Certified Nursing Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, assisting them with daily living activities and promoting their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Document care provided, including daily recording of resident vital signs
  • Maintain resident safety and report any changes in status or condition to the nurse in charge
  • Observe residents for changes in condition and report to the nurse in charge and/or manager immediately
  • Collaborate with nurses to identify problems, goals, and interventions listed in the care plan
  • Transport residents to various destinations
  • Assist with orienting and training new employees
  • Ensure quality resident-centered care
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • Certificate to practice as a Certified Nurse Aide in the State of Virginia in good standing
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work as a team and independently
