About the OpportunityProCare Therapy is thrilled to present a full-time opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) in a dynamic educational setting. This role is designed for professionals who are passionate about making a positive impact on students' lives.
Your Role and Responsibilities- Therapeutic Services: Provide personalized therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of each student.
- Caseload Management: Oversee a diverse caseload of students requiring various speech and language interventions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student care.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and adapt therapy plans based on student progress and feedback.
- Engagement: Facilitate effective one-on-one or small group therapy sessions to foster student development.
Your day will begin with warm interactions with students and colleagues. Mornings will focus on delivering customized therapy sessions, while lunchtime will be dedicated to collaborating with teachers and parents to discuss student progress and strategies. The afternoon will involve additional therapy sessions and planning to support student growth.
Qualifications- Licensure: Must hold an active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) license.
- Experience: Prior experience in an educational setting is preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Excellent communication and organizational abilities are essential for success in this role.
- Education: A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field is required.
