About the Role

This full-time Clinical Music Therapist position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and families at Beacon Health System. As a vital member of our interdisciplinary team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of innovative music therapy programs that promote healing, wellness, and quality of life.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Assess patient needs and develop personalized music therapy plans to address specific goals and objectives.
  2. Provide music therapy services in a variety of settings, including hospital rooms, group therapy rooms, and outdoor spaces.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care coordination and communication.
  4. Document patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with established protocols.
  5. Prioritize ongoing professional development and stay current with best practices in music therapy and healthcare.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Board certification as a music therapist (MT-BC) or equivalent required.
  • Minimum three years of clinical experience in music therapy or a related field.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment and prioritize multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. A comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
