Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a skilled Clinical Art Therapist to join our team. As a Clinical Art Therapist, you will provide evidence-based art therapy assessment and treatment to adults, adolescents, and children in individual or group settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psycho-social assessments and develop treatment plans for patients
- Provide individual and group art therapy sessions to promote mental health and well-being
- Collaborate with treatment teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Assist with discharge planning and community resource referrals
- Provide medical consultations and training to residents, interns, and healing arts therapists
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Mental Health and Art Therapy or related field
- 5 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adult patients with psychiatric, substance abuse, or medical conditions
Working Conditions:
- Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision
- Ability to work with diverse patient populations and adapt to changing situations
- Physical demands include bending, stooping, and lifting patients
