Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Fresenius Medical Care North America. As a key member of our Home Therapies team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and education to individuals with End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD).

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, educating patients and their families on dialysis therapies, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide safe and effective training and oversight of dialysis therapies to patients in compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Conduct initial home visits with patients and their families to assess their readiness for home dialysis therapy.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and effective care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (R.N.)
  • Current appropriate state licensure
  • Minimum of one year medical-surgical nursing experience preferred, ICU experience preferred
  • Minimum of one year dialysis experience preferred, peritoneal experience preferred
  • Successfully complete a training course in the theory and practice of dialysis therapies
  • Competent at operating all Home Therapies related equipment
  • Successfully complete CPR certification with maintenance as required
  • Icd-9 coding Training
  • Demonstrated teaching abilities
