Job Summary

Bayer is seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Science Liaison to join our team in the Pacific Northwest region. As a key member of our Medical Affairs team, you will serve as a trusted scientific expert and partner representing Bayer in the medical community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain proactive, long-term scientific/strategic relationships with key healthcare providers, stakeholders, and medical associations.
  • Disseminate and educate on scientific data related to Bayer products across the product lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement effective engagement strategies to drive medical strategy and translate local medical plans into implementable TL and stakeholder engagement plans.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners and external contacts to address specific scientific and educational needs.
  • Deliver educational presentations to external audiences, stakeholders, and customers groups.
  • Support research projects aligned with medical and brand strategy, including facilitating investigator-initiated research and research site identification.
  • Generate relevant HCP and stakeholder insights that deepen understanding of patients, HCPs, consumers, or treatment landscape.
Requirements
  • BA/BS Degree required.
  • Experience in a scientific or healthcare clinical setting, or pharmaceutical industry experience in Medical Affairs, Sales, Marketing, or Clinical Development.
  • MSL experience required.
  • Demonstrated project management ability.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to critically evaluate the medical literature.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Established ability to build productive work relationships both internally and externally.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced terminal degree in medical or health sciences (e.g. M.D., PhD, PharmD, DPH, EdD) or an advanced degree in Pharmacology, Pharmacy, Medicine, Nursing, or equivalent experience.
  • Working knowledge of FDA, OIG requirements.
What We Offer

Bayer offers a competitive salary range of $140,500 to $210,600, plus additional compensation and benefits, including health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, and more.
