Electrical Systems Engineer

Job Summary:
L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Operations Test Engineering Group in Salt Lake City, Utah. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing test bed and automation systems. This role requires collaboration with the test systems engineering group to ensure product requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Experience in product development, preferably in military application environments
• Experience in manufacturing and manufacturing test development
• Understanding of engineering architecture and design concepts, as well as engineering practices and procedures required to develop, test, and deploy test systems
• Presentation and communication skills (verbal, written, and visual)
• Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to meet critical deadlines
• Demonstrated experience with planning and effectively coordinating projects
• Ability to productively contribute work, ideas, and collaboration as part of a cross-functional team
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in product development, preferably in military application environments
• Experience in manufacturing and manufacturing test development
• Understanding of engineering architecture and design concepts, as well as engineering practices and procedures required to develop, test, and deploy test systems
• Presentation and communication skills (verbal, written, and visual)
• Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to meet critical deadlines
• Demonstrated experience with planning and effectively coordinating projects

• Excellent computer skills with a strong proficiency in Windows interface, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and Microsoft Project
• Superb analytical, project management, and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively to promote collaboration among the program team
• Exceptional leadership and decision-making skills
• Must be able to travel
