Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Med/Surg Ortho/Spine care to join our team at Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing high-quality patient care, with a focus on orthopedic and spinal conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans based on the nursing process and diagnosis
  • Administer medications as ordered, demonstrating knowledge of their modes of action, side effects, and contraindications
  • Initiate, regulate, and manage IV therapy for assigned patients
  • Assume responsibility for patient placement on the unit and assignment of care responsibilities, considering the complexity of nursing care required by each patient
  • Evaluate the patient environment for safety and communicate identified concerns to the appropriate person in a timely manner
  • Provide patient education and keep patients informed of their treatment plan

Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Nevada
  • Current BCLS certification
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • BSN preferred
  • Basic Arrhythmia Recognition
  • Ortho/Neuro experience preferred
  • Minimum of one year of acute care hospital experience in an area of specialty preferred

Salary Information:

The estimated hourly wage for this role is $44.13 - $65.50 per hour, based on national averages and industry standards. This figure may vary depending on individual qualifications, experience, and location.
