We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Registrar to join our team at Longview Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our patient access team, you will be responsible for registering patients and processing related paperwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interview patients and prepare standard registration forms
- Perform clerical and secretarial work as needed
- Ensure accurate completion of patient demographic and financial requirements
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive patient experience
- Stay up-to-date on EMTALA and HIPAA laws and hospital policies
Requirements:
- Medical office or hospital registration experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology, EMTALA, and HIPAA laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
