Clinical Nurse Specialist

Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience).

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Hurlburt Field AFB, Florida. As a clinical nurse specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and education in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and develop their skills in areas such as medication management, wound care, and patient education.

• You will be responsible for greeting and escorting patients to exam rooms for medical provider visits, obtaining and documenting subjective and objective data in the electronic medical record, and completing assigned patient care tasks.
• You will use your judgment to select the appropriate order and sequence of procedures and treatments, accurately recognize, report, and record relevant patient information.
• You will observe, identify, and respond to the patient's needs for care, including medication, equipment-assisted care, and patient/family education.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a practical or vocational nurse.
• One year of practical or vocational nurse experience after graduation.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
