Agricultural Statistic Enumerator

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to collect and compile crop and livestock information from farm operators and industry representatives. This data is crucial for making accurate estimates of agricultural production, which benefits producers, buyers, and government agencies.

The role involves part-time, intermittent work with flexible days and hours. All necessary training will be provided, and no prior experience is required. An agriculture background is advantageous, but not essential. Basic computer skills and proficiency in using an iPad are necessary.

Being multilingual is a valuable asset, and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance is mandatory. The ideal candidate will be based in one of the following counties: WASCO, HOOD RIVER, UNION, GRANT, MORROW, or WALLOWA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and compile crop and livestock information from farm operators and industry representatives
  • Conduct phone and in-person interviews to gather data
  • Use an iPad to collect and record information
  • Compile and analyze data to make accurate estimates of agricultural production
