KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Engaging in the recruitment and onboarding of new clinical personnel
  • Providing essential training and orientation for staff involved in direct patient care
  • Conducting competency assessments to uphold performance standards
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to enhance quality metrics
  • Supporting initiatives related to Quality Enhancement Programs (QEP) and Quality Assurance Indicators (QAI)
  • Facilitating educational sessions for patient care staff and overseeing patient care protocols

PATIENT CARE:
  • Delivering comprehensive patient education on treatment options and disease management
  • Administering dialysis treatments in accordance with prescribed protocols
  • Monitoring patient reactions throughout the dialysis process
  • Administering necessary medications and interventions
  • Maintaining precise documentation of patient data and treatment records
INFECTION CONTROL:
  • Assisting in infection control assessments and ensuring adherence to protocols
  • Promoting compliance with infection control policies among patients and staff
  • Participating in educational programs focused on infection prevention
TECHNICAL MAINTENANCE:
  • Upholding cleanliness and environmental standards within the facility
  • Executing essential tasks for the preparation of dialysis treatments
  • Cleaning and sanitizing dialysis equipment
  • Ensuring proper management of supplies and equipment
DOCUMENTATION:
  • Contributing to Quality Assurance Indicator (QAI) activities
  • Accurately entering treatment data in a timely manner
  • Preparing laboratory requisitions and managing lab samples
  • Ensuring thorough documentation of patient information
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Engaging in desk work, patient interactions, and inter-facility travel
  • Working within a healthcare environment
  • Providing direct patient care, including lifting and moving patients

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN, LVN)
