Intermountain Health is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans, operating imaging equipment, and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform CT procedures to obtain desired imaging results, following physician specifications.
- Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Position, immobilize, and educate patients for CT procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Coordinate CT examinations to ensure timely, high-quality, and continuous patient care.
- Submit images and clinical information to radiologists for interpretation, and evaluate image quality.
- Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, radiologists, and leadership, providing open, accurate, and responsive information.
- Utilize, charge, and maintain department supplies, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification, with a specialization in Computed Tomography (CT).
- Two years of experience in a hospital or ED setting, with a focus on CT imaging.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
