Job Overview

Preferred Land Care LLC is seeking a skilled Garden Nursery Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of our garden center, including plant care, customer service, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plant Care and Maintenance
    • Water, fertilize, prune, and trim plants on an established schedule to promote healthy growth
    • Assist in the planting, maintenance, and cultivation of nursery plants
  • Customer Service
    • Assist customers with product selection, schedule installations, and provide additional customer support as needed
  • Inventory Management
    • Unload products from incoming trucks, inventory products, complete necessary paperwork
  • General Garden Center Duties
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the garden center
Requirements
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to perform physical tasks, lifting objects to 40 pounds, bending and standing for extended periods
  • Weather Conditions
    • Work outside for extended periods in rain, heat, and other weather extremities
  • Skills and Experience
    • Industry experience and familiarity with plant identification and operating machinery is a plus
