Overview: This role involves ensuring the quality of software changes within the Medicaid system, specifically for federally mandated updates. The successful candidate will conduct Quality Assurance (QA) tasks and support User Acceptance (UA) testing related to software modifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project teams to validate coding changes.
  • Create and execute test scenarios.
  • Analyze test outcomes and resolve discrepancies between actual and expected results.
  • Engage with users and external healthcare providers for testing purposes.
  • Maintain effective communication, both written and verbal, throughout the testing process.

Required Skills:

  • Mainframe, MVS COBOL, JCL
  • Software Testing and Test Scenario Creation

Essential Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication abilities (written and oral)
  • Adaptability and flexibility
  • Self-motivation and problem-solving skills
  • Analytical thinking and time management
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CA-ADS, SQL, and change control tools like Serena ChangeMan
  • Familiarity with testing tools

Education: High School Diploma with experience in Quality Assurance Testing.
