Key Responsibilities:- Imaging Procedures: Performs all duties with hybrid imaging in a PET/CT and SPECT/CT outpatient department, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
- Radioisotope Administration: Calculates, orders, administers, and records radioactive isotopes, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Patient Education: Instructs patients on proper exam preparations, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience.
- Procedure Verification: Verifies physician orders for procedures and properly identifies patients, maintaining the highest level of accuracy.
- Quality Control: Performs all required quality control procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Continuing Education: Maintains compliance with continuing education requirements, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.
- Certifications: CNMT or ARRT(N) and NYS DOH (Nuclear Medicine) License, current CPR certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(CT)
