Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality services to students in Calais, ME. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and current licensure in Maine.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and challenges.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with educators and healthcare professionals.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services, including therapeutic exercises and activities to improve motor skills and independence.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to integrate therapy goals into educational plans.
  • Participate in IEP meetings to contribute expertise in setting educational goals and accommodations.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current Maine state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience in pediatric occupational therapy preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.
  • Strong clinical skills in assessing and treating pediatric populations.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
