As a CareVet Health team member, you will have access to a state-of-the-art facility with 5 exam rooms, two treatment areas, and a luxury surgery suite. You will work closely with a strong, long-standing team that fosters a friendly, positive atmosphere.

Job Responsibilities
  • Examine animals to assess their health and diagnose problems
  • Treat and dress wounds and perform surgery on animals
  • Test for and vaccinate against diseases and operate medical equipment
  • Advise animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments
  • Prescribe medication and work closely with team members to provide high-quality care

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required
  • Licensure in the state where you will be working
  • Ability to show compassion to pets and their owners
  • Outstanding dexterity in handling animals while performing precise tasks
  • Ability to react quickly and make decisions under pressure about animal wellbeing
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
