Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our educational team in North Bay, California.

Overview:

The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping students overcome communication challenges, possess excellent diagnostic and therapeutic skills, and be committed to fostering a supportive learning environment. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students and develop individualized treatment plans to address their diverse communication needs.
  • Provide SLP services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports to ensure seamless communication among stakeholders.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.

Licenses & Certifications:

  • A master's or doctoral degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech and Language Pathology is required.
  • An active California SLP License is necessary for this role.
  • ASHA certification is an asset but not mandatory.

Salary and Benefits:

This full-time position offers a competitive salary, which we estimate to be around $85,000 per year based on industry standards and regional costs of living.
