Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist/School Psychologist to join our team at Guilford County Schools. As a Speech Language Pathologist/School Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and learning disorders in students. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans. This is a full-time, exempt position with a 10-month contract. The salary is $5,998.00 per month, and a $10,000 signing bonus is offered for newly hired Speech Language Pathologists.

Responsibilities:

- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and learning disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Work closely with teachers to provide support and accommodations for students with disabilities
- Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement school-wide initiatives to support student learning and well-being
- Maintain accurate records and reports of student progress and services provided
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and research in the field

Requirements:

- Hold a North Carolina State license in Speech Language Pathology through a Master's program AND hold a current or temporary Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
- Must hold or be eligible to hold a NCDPI School Psychology License
- Must serve a 2-year commitment
