ProLocums is seeking a skilled Thoracic Surgeon to join our team.

  • Practice Setting: Hospital-based, with a focus on rounding and patient care.
  • Call Ratio: As needed, with a 1:3 ratio.
  • Average Number of Cases Per Day: Varies, with fewer cases on weekends.
  • Trauma Level/Designation: Level II.
  • Documentation System/EMR: EPIC.
  • Description of Ancillary Staff: APPs and Surgical PAs will be rounding with the surgeon.
  • Scope of Services Required: Adult Cardiac Surgery, General Thoracic Surgery.
  • Aortic Surgery Procedures Required: Varies, including aortic aneurysm repair.
  • Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery Procedures Required: CABG.
  • Procedures Required: Pericardial Window, Tube Thoracostomy, Thoracic aortic aneurysms.

Submission Requirements:

  • Board Certification: Required.
  • Fellowship Training: Required.
  • PA License: Preferred.
  • BLS, ACLS: Required.
  • DEA: Verbal Confirmation Required at Name Clear.
